On March 12, 2015, the True North Brass family lost a passionate, fearless, supportive and inspiring musician. Joan Watson was a founding True North Brass member, principal horn with the Canadian Opera Company and many organizations over the course of her life. She was an inspiration, a mentor, a positive force, and a friend to so many.
